Five Facebook Groups That Will Give You Warm Fuzzies

If you are going to be on social media, then why not cultivate a feed that brings you joy? Check out these 5 Facebook groups that I started following over the last year that give me that warm fuzzy feeling. Then post your favorite facebook groups in the comments below!

Heck This Is Wholesome

Heart-warming stories and funny, sweet posts. Totally family friendly and never leads to any disagreements in the comments. This group posts often so click on it whenever you are having a rough day or just need a little pick-me-up.

Creating a Cozy Life- Hygge Style or Hygge

Cozy photos and ideas that help the hard parts of the day melt away. If you don’t know what Hygge is- it is a Danish word meaning “a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being” (https://denmark.dk/people-and-culture/hygge). And even more fun is how to pronounce it! Check out this video to learn how. There are other Hygge groups on Facebook to join if you really want to fill up your feed with Hygge photos! I especially love how these groups are international so I can learn about different routines people do around the world. For example, one whole post was the different ways people take their tea.

David Attenborough Fans

National Geographic level photos that inspire wonder, awe, and awwww! Sometimes this is just ascetically pleasing for the eye, and at other times, this makes me curious to learn more or even inspires me to write a poem.

Xennials

If you fall in this age group, it’s not only nostalgic, but offers humor and a unique connection to others. At times, this page has even validated thoughts and feelings I had and helped to explain why. (For example, why so many of us wanted to be a marine biologist when growing up!)

Carolina Day Trips

If you are in the Carolinas, this is a great way to discover fun day trips such as hikes, historical spots, and unique experiences. But even if you are not in the area, you might enjoy these positive posts and ideas. And I am guessing there is a similar facebook group you can join for your own city or state.
